Gaisce Adventure Journeys

FMOEC are delighted to be working with Gaisce as an Adventure Journey provider. We have a fantastic centre here that offers numerous activities on both land & sea to students & adults of all ages. We aim that by working alongside Gaisce, our centre will in time be viewed as a leading destination & outdoor provider for Gaisce groups throughout the province, and indeed the country. We pride ourselves on two main ethos: a safe place to learn & enjoyment of the outdoors provided by highly skilled and trained Multi Activity Instructors.

Sailing courses and training

Our Courses follow the Irish Sailing Small Boat Sailing Scheme (SBSS) and are suitable for absolute beginners to expert sailor. For detailed information on Small Boat Courses, please go to the Irish Sailing website, www.sailing.ie.

Accredited courses on offer for Summer 2026 include: Start Sailing, Basic Skills, Improving Skills.

Seconday Schools & Outdoor Learning

FMOEC is ideally situated to cater to a variety of school groups and needs. We offer: Transition Year oriented 3-5 day trips, school tour bookings, as well as activity and Outdoor Education focused day trips.

We offer a multitude of activities both on land and sea, and can adapt and design the activities to meet the needs of our group.
